Pakistan Railways announces special trains ahead of Eidul Azha

Pakistan Railways has announced that it will operate special trains ahead of Eid-ul-Azha to facilitate passengers travelling to their hometowns to celebrate the festive occasion.

The first special train will depart from Quetta for Rawalpindi on May 24, while the second special train will leave Karachi City Station for Rawalpindi on the same day.

The third special train is scheduled to depart from Karachi Cantonment Railway Station for Lahore on May 25.

Railway authorities said the special trains will include economy class coaches and power vans to accommodate a larger number of passengers during the Eid travel season.

Officials further stated that train speeds will remain within sectional speed limits and will not exceed 105 kilometres per hour.
