Pakistan unveils first long-range radar to monitor Indian military activities

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has successfully developed its first long-range radar system, AM3505, designed to monitor Indian land and air military movements, according to private television reports.
The AM3505 radar has been jointly developed by NRTC (National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation) and Blue Surge, and is capable of detecting enemy targets up to 350 kilometers away and identifying aircraft flying at altitudes of 60,000 feet.
This state-of-the-art defense system can distinguish between friendly and hostile tanks, artillery, aircraft, and other military assets within a range of up to 450 kilometers.
Equipped with advanced anti-jamming technology, the radar remains functional even under extreme weather conditions, including dense fog, heavy rain, and storms.

One of the radar’s standout features is its rapid deployment capability, becoming operational within just 30 minutes.
It is mobile and easily transportable, enhancing its strategic utility in field operations.
Officials have hailed the radar as a milestone achievement reflecting the dedication and expertise of Pakistani scientists and engineers.
