Information Minister Attaullah Tarar revealed that Pakistan has credible intelligence indicating India’s intention to launch military action within the next 24 to 36 hours, using the Pahalgam incident as a pretext.
In a video statement released late Tuesday night, Tarar stated that India has leveled baseless and fabricated allegations against Pakistan regarding the Pahalgam incident to justify potential aggression.
The minister warned that any form of Indian aggression will be met with a decisive and resolute response.
"Pakistan categorically rejects India’s self-assigned role of plaintiff, judge, and executioner in the region," he said. "Pakistan, itself a victim of terrorism for over two decades, strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms across the world."

Tarar criticised the use of such incidents to pursue political agendas, calling it unfortunate and regrettable. He stressed that any military misadventure by India would have severe consequences, with the responsibility for any escalation resting solely on New Delhi.
"The Pakistani nation will protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs," he asserted.
Referring to Pakistan’s response following the Pahalgam incident, the minister said the country had acted responsibly by offering an independent and impartial investigation to determine the facts and motives behind the event.

"India, however, chose the path of confrontation and irrationality," he added. "Its refusal to participate in an impartial investigation is itself a clear indication of its true intentions. This approach not only threatens regional stability but could have global repercussions."
