ISLAMABAD: The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has reportedly added the names of 23 overseas Pakistanis to the Passport Control List (PCL) due to their suspected involvement in the attack on ex-CJP Qazi Faez Isa's vehicle in London.
According to passport officials, the names of 23 individuals linked to the attack on former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa in London have been included on the Passport Control List (PCL).
Sources indicate that among those listed is PTI leader Malaika Bukhari—who went abroad for her sister's cancer treatment—along with Shayan Ali, Sadia Fahim, Fahim Gulzar, Maheen Faisal, Sidra Tariq, and several others reportedly involved in protests in London.
The additional names placed on the PCL include Hiba Tariq, Waqas Chauhan, Mohsin Haider, Zameer Akram, Sardar Taimur, Parvaiz Ali, Rukhsana Kausar, Muhammad Jameel, Mehran Habib, Zawa Ahmad, Rehman Anwar, Muhammad Sadiq, Khadija Kashif, Muhammad Naveed Afzal, Shahzad Qureshi, Sulaiman Ali Shah, and Bilal Anwar.
In total, 153 other names have also been added to this list. However, the passports of the 23 primary suspects have been formally revoked.
Authorities have reportedly reached out to British officials requesting the extradition of these individuals. If they are returned to Pakistan, they will face arrest and questioning.
On October 31, the Pakistan High Commission in London lodged a formal complaint with UK authorities, seeking an investigation into the matter.
PTI supporters attempted to block the former CJP's vehicle, which was part of the Pakistan High Commission's convoy, and even tried to break its windows. They shouted slogans when they spotted Qazi Faez Isa inside and ran alongside the vehicle.
