PM Sharif to celebrate Eidul Adha in Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Jeddah on Thursday for a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, following an invitation extended by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Accompanied by a high-level delegation, the premier will celebrate Eidul Adha in the Kingdom and hold a crucial meeting with the Saudi crown prince on Eid day.
The leaders are expected to engage in wide-ranging talks focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially in sectors like trade, investment, and the collective welfare of the Muslim Ummah, as well as regional peace and stability.

Prime Minister Shehbaz is also anticipated to convey Pakistan’s gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s constructive efforts in easing recent tensions between Pakistan and India.
According to the Foreign Office, the trip reflects the deep-rooted and enduring relationship between the two brotherly nations—grounded in shared faith, mutual respect, and a strategic alliance.
The visit is expected to further strengthen Pakistan-Saudi ties and create new opportunities for broader collaboration across multiple domains.
