Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has resolved to proceed with its call for a "do-or-die" march towards Islamabad, following the failure of negotiations and the government's refusal to release Imran Khan on Friday.

According to reports, the party's top brass, including Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, former President Dr Arif Alvi, Asad Qaiser, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and the provincial government's spokesman Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif, participated in a crucial meeting to deliberate on whether to continue or call off the protest.

After lengthy discussions on recent developments, including the Islamabad High Court's ban on protests over the weekend and Bushra Bibi's controversial statement, party leaders ultimately decided not to cancel the march.

Ali Amin Gandapur and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan later informed Imran Khan in Adiala Jail about the meeting's decision.

The backdoor negotiations between PTI and the government aimed at securing Imran Khan's release failed to yield results, leaving the PTI founder incarcerated in prison.

Imran Khan has outlined outlined three primary demands, including the rollback of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, the restoration of the Constitution to its original form, and the return of the party's “stolen mandate.”

He also demanded the release of all political prisoners held without trial.
