Ramazan moon expected to be sighted on March 11 in Pakistan

As Muslims around the world prepare for the holy month of Ramazan, they are also eagerly anticipating the sighting of the crescent of the month to mark its beginning.
According to the the International Astronomy Center (IAC), Ramazan moon is likely to be sighted on March 11 (Tuesday) in South Asian countries, including Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh.
The first fast is expected to be observed on March 12, according to IAC's prediction.
However, the beginning of the holy month in Pakistan will be announced by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee after sighting the Ramazan moon.
In the Gulf countries, the fasting month's crescent is likely to be sighted on March 10 with first Roza to be observed on March 11.
The IAC said the Shahban's month is expected to conclude after 29 days similar to Rajab's month in Arab countries.
Muslims throughout Pakistan and the rest of the world observe the month of Ramazan annually. During Ramazan, Muslims adhere to fasting from dawn till sunset, fostering a sense of community and empathy for the less fortunate through shared iftars.
