Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is observed with fasting, prayers, and charity.
As the Islamic calendar follows the lunar cycle, its months last 29 or 30 days, causing Ramadan to shift by approximately 10 days each year in the Gregorian calendar.
Muslims worldwide will mark the holy month with religious devotion, self-discipline, and communal spirit, engaging in fasting from dawn to dusk while emphasizing acts of kindness and social welfare.
