Renowned Professor Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra passes away

Renowned professor Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra has passed away. Actor Adeel Hashmi confirmed her demise on his Facebook account.

Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra passed away in Lahore; her funeral prayer will be announced later.

She completed her MA in Urdu from Government College Lahore and earned her doctorate in History from the East-West Center, University of Hawaii.

She served as the Principal of the Government College for Women, Gulberg, Lahore, from 1986 to 2009. She was fluent in seven languages.

Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra was also a member of several educational, administrative, social, and cultural committees.
