Saudi prince reaches Pakistan for houbara bustard hunting season

QUETTA: Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the governor of Tabuk, arrived in Dalbandin aboard a special aircraft.
Throughout his month-long visit to Dalbandin, the Saudi prince and his entourage will engage in hunting houbara bustards in a designated area reserved for the royal family.
Upon his arrival at the airport, the prince was welcomed by provincial ministers Mir Sadiq Umrani and Mir Asim Kurd Gello, along with other officials.
A police contingent provided a guard of honour for the esteemed Saudi royal.
In a brief discussion with the ministers, government officials, and local dignitaries, Prince Aziz expressed his appreciation for the enduring and robust relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
He remarked that Dalbandin and Chagai felt like a second home to him, commending the hospitality of the local populace and conveying his heartfelt affection for them.
After the reception, the prince departed in a large convoy towards his hunting grounds situated in the desert region of Bartagazi, where he will pursue houbara bustards.
