Security forces kill 35 ‘Fitna-ul-Hindustan’ terrorists, 12 soldiers martyred in KP operations

Security forces killed 35 Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists during operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while 12 soldiers embraced martyrdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the forces conducted two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from September 10 to 13 in Bajaur and South Waziristan District at the hideouts of the Khawarij.

The ISPR reported that 35 terrorists of the Indian proxy group Fitna-al-Khawarij were killed and arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession.

In Bajaur, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation after receiving information about the presence of the Khawarij. In the exchange of fire, 22 terrorists operating under Indian patronage were killed.

Another operation was conducted in Waziristan, where 13 more terrorists were killed. The slain Khawarij were involved in several terrorist activities.

The ISPR confirmed that 12 soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred in the clashes.

The military’s Public Relations Department stated that intelligence reports confirmed the involvement of Afghan citizens in the attacks. The use of Afghan soil by Fitna-al-Khawarij against Pakistan remains a matter of serious concern, and Pakistan expects the Afghan interim government to fulfill its responsibilities.

The ISPR reiterated that Afghanistan must ensure its territory is not used for anti-Pakistan activities. Clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorists, as the security forces remain determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.
