Sheikh Rashid spends time with his favourite horse's foal

After losing both National Assembly constituencies in Rawalpindi, Awami Muslim League (AML) President Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has started spending time at his farmhouse.

Taking to the microblogging site X, the former federal minister shared a picture of his favourite horse, who just gave birth to a foal.

In the picture, Rashid can be seen petting the newborn animal.

PTI founder Imran Khan's close aide, in the February 8 elections, faced defeats at the hands of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidates.

He was contesting from the National Assembly constituency NA-56, while his nephew was vying for NA-57 in Rawalpindi.

PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi secured a win in NA-56 with votes of 96,649 people, while the AML chief got only 5,725 votes.

In NA-57, Nawaz Sharif's party's candidate Danyal Chaudhry claimed victory with 83,331 votes, however, Sheikh Rashid Shafique only secured 3,532 votes.
