Sher Afzal Marwat accuses Shahbaz Gill of sexually harassing women at Chief Minister's House

Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat has leveled serious allegations of misconduct and sexual harassment against Shahbaz Gill, a former Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (PM) and a close ally of PTI founder Imran Khan.

Speaking on a podcast, Marwat alleged that when Gill served as the spokesperson for the Punjab chief minister during the PTI government, "He [Shahbaz Gill] used to sexually harass women at the Chief Minister’s House."

Marwat, who was recently expelled from PTI by Imran Khan, also reiterated his earlier accusation that Gill had stolen the former prime minister's mobile phones and handed them over to ex-spymaster General (retired) Faiz Hamid.

In 2022, Gill claimed during a press conference that Imran Khan’s phone had been stolen. However, Marwat asserted that an investigation revealed Gill himself was responsible for the theft and had passed the devices to Faiz Hamid.

He further alleged that Gill used to disclose details of PTI’s confidential meetings in his vlogs, which led Imran Khan to warn him to either remain in the political committee or focus on vlogging.

Continuing his scathing remarks, Marwat claimed that Gill recently sold "two farmhouses in Gulberg Green, Islamabad, worth nine crore each."

Additionally, he accused Gill of having fake academic credentials and amassing wealth through illegal means, including allegedly defrauding Imran Khan’s sister of five crore rupees.
