Sindh announces Oxford University scholarships

The Sindh Education Department has announced scholarships for study at the University of Oxford.

According to a spokesperson for the department, the scholarships will be available for graduate, master’s, MPhil and PhD programmes.

The spokesperson said that a Sindh domicile and a valid national identity card are mandatory for applicants.

Shortlisted candidates will be finalised after interviews.

The spokesperson added that the scholarships are being offered in the context of the recent visit to Oxford by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Chief Minister of Sindh.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Bhutto Graduate Scholarships,

applicants must:

Domicile: Be residents of Sindh, Pakistan, with a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and

Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) from Sindh.

Education: Have completed at least an undergraduate degree from a public or private university in Pakistan.

Programme Level: Have an admission offer in a graduate (MPhil, Master’s) or doctoral (DPhil) program at the University of Oxford.
