A luxury vehicle stolen from the United Kingdom has been traced to multiple locations in Karachi.

According to media reports, the Sindh police have asked Interpol to provide the complete movement log of the vehicle’s tracker after receiving information that the stolen car was present in the city. The high-end black Range Rover was originally stolen from Harrogate in North Yorkshire on November 22, 2022, British police confirmed.

Details shared so far suggest that the SUV has been tracked to Korangi, Saddar, and Azam Basti in Karachi. However, a senior Karachi police officer noted that locating the vehicle on the basis of a single tracker ping is difficult, which is why the authorities have requested the full tracking record.

Earlier this month, Interpol Manchester formally reached out to Sindh Police, requesting assistance in the recovery of the vehicle. A letter was sent to the Capital City Police Officer (South Karachi) and the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC), confirming the stolen car’s identity and urging action.

The tracker briefly sent out a fresh signal on February 11, 2025, from Azam Basti, Korangi Service Road, and Saddar Town, suggesting the vehicle’s movement within Karachi.

SSP AVLC Amjad Sheikh recently confirmed that Sindh Police had received an official communication from Interpol regarding the case. “Legal proceedings have been initiated on Interpol’s request, and efforts are underway to recover the vehicle soon,” he said.
