Sindh to observe public holiday on Dec 27

The Sindh government has declared a public holiday across the province on December 27 to commemorate the death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
According to the notification, all government offices operating under the provincial government will remain closed on December 27.
The provincial government announced this public holiday to honor the memory of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Benazir Bhutto, who was tragically assassinated on December 27, 2007, during a public rally in Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi.
The PPP holds a rally in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in Larkana district every year on December 27 to commemorate Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary.
