The Sindh government has declared summer holidays for all schools and colleges in the province from June 1 to July 31, according to an official notification from the Sindh Education Department.

Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government announced its summer vacation schedule for government and private schools. Primary schools in the summer zone will observe holidays from June 1 to August 31, while middle, high, and higher secondary schools will have their break from June 15 to August 31. Schools in the winter zone will have summer vacations from July 1 to July 31.

In Punjab, the government started summer holidays early, beginning May 28, due to a severe heatwave, as confirmed by Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat.

These announcements reflect the provinces’ efforts to provide relief to students and staff amid soaring temperatures, with vacation schedules adjusted to regional climate conditions. The staggered breaks also aim to minimize disruption in academic calendars across the country.
