Karachi is set to experience a brief spell of cooler weather with temperatures expected to dip by 1°C over the next few days
Karachi is set to get a taste of winter as nights have become cooler, and the temperature is expected to drop by 1°C in the coming days.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast that the mercury could fall to 16°C in Karachi, making nights feel even cooler. This trend is expected to continue for the next three days until Wednesday.
In other parts of Sindh, the weather will remain dry and warm, while nights will be slightly cooler. The plains are also expected to experience fog during this period.
According to the Meteorological Department, the city may see temperatures up to 31°C today, with 73% humidity. The air quality is currently hazardous.
Air monitoring recorded 170 PM meters, prompting health experts to advise residents to wear masks when stepping outside.
Across Punjab, cities like Lahore are still experiencing dangerously polluted air, affecting residents’ health.
