“There is no justice:” Bushra Bibi breaks down in tears during court hearing

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s spouse Bushra Bibi broke down in tears during a bail hearing at the Islamabad District and Sessions Court, saying that she has not received any justice.

Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail, has filed for bail in six cases, while Bushra Bibi has sought bail in one case, for which she appeared in court.

During the hearing, Bushra Bibi took to the podium and alleged that she had endured nine months of injustice from the judges. “The PTI founder and I have been unjustly punished,” she stated.

She criticised the legal proceedings, asserting that all the lawyers, including their own, were merely wasting time.

“The human imprisoned inside is not treated as a human; no judge can see that,” she said, adding that she would not return to the court because “only injustices happen here.”

Bushra Bibi further lamented, “There is no justice,” and added, “I did not come to court to receive justice. My blanket and other belongings are in the car; when you say I am ready to go to jail.”
