Tehreek-i-Tahafuz-i-Ayin-i-Pakistan's (TTAP) sit-in at Parliament House over former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s health continued for the third straight day on Sunday.
The protest began after the Supreme Court was informed on February 12 that Imran Khan’s right eye had only 15 percent vision remaining.
TTAP had announced that it would continue the sit-in until the former premier and the PTI founder was moved to a hospital of his personal doctors’ choice.
Government officials had indicated on Saturday that Imran, currently in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail, would soon be shifted to a hospital, but no such move had taken place by Sunday morning.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan shared visuals showing himself, TTAP Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai, Senate Opposition Leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, MNA Asad Qaiser, Senator Faisal Javed, and other party leaders sitting at Parliament House.
