Sahir Hasan, arrested in connection with the Mustafa Amir case, has made startling revelations about the narcotics business before the investigators.

During his statement, Sahir Hasan refuted the notion that they personally distribute drugs in educational institutions. Instead, he claimed that college and university students place orders through online mobile apps.

The deliveries are made to specific locations, and students are gradually addicted to weed after befriending drug dealers. Initially, only a few buyers existed in the institution, but within months, the customer base expanded.

SSP Shoaib Memon revealed that two major groups are operating in the city’s weed trade—one illegally imports weed from California, while the other deals in Iranian weed. Investigations into these networks are ongoing.

Authorities stated that breaking the alliance between Mustafa Amir and Sahir Hasan led to a 50% reduction in weed sales. Currently, weed is not as easily available to consumers, and 20 key drug sellers have gone into hiding. However, none have fled the country, and police are tightening their grip on the Iranian weed network.

Sahir Hasan, son of actor Sajid Hasan, was arrested for drug possession and sent to jail. During interrogation, he named prominent businessmen, politicians, and other influential figures involved in the trade.

He admitted that online drug payments were made through his father’s manager’s account. He had been using weed for 13 years and selling it for the past two years. He sourced drugs from Bazil and Yahya, importing millions worth of drugs via courier companies, paying Rs400,000 to Rs500,000 weekly.

Authorities disclosed that Mustafa Amir and Sahir Hassan were among Karachi’s major drug dealers, with possible connections to the dark web.

Following the revelations, actor Sajid Hassan’s career has taken a hit, and his neighbors have distanced themselves from him.

Sahir Hasan has worked as a model in multiple commercials, acted in TV dramas, and also pursued freelance work alongside his modeling and acting career.
