"You're medically unfit if you can't feel anything after seeing woman for 20 minutes," says Zakir Naik

Religious scholar Zakir Naik is making daily headlines during his stay in Pakistan.

In a recent interview with a private TV, Dr Zakir Naik shed light on men's feelings while seeing a female. 

He said the Quran has instructed 'darguzar' if any bad idea comes to men's minds after seeing a female. He also went on to say that to have feelings for the opposite sex is natural and " "You're medically unfit if you can't feel anything after seeing a woman for 20 minutes."

Earlier, Naik expressed his disapproval of Maryam Nawaz's appointment as Chief Minister Punjab.

During the interview, anchorperson Fareeha Idrees asked Mr Naik about Islamic laws regarding women's governance.

After asking the question, she mentioned that "our Chief Minister is also a woman", pointing at CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

In response, the preacher questioned the legitimacy of a woman holding public office.

"I don't have any grudges with that woman but why a woman? Are men dead in that city or country," Dr Naik responded without naming CM Maryam.
