"You're siting with world's best governor," Mustafa Kamal tells Dr Zakir Naik

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader and Member of the National Assembly Mustafa Kamal called on religious scholar Dr Zakir Naik at Sindh Governor House.

During the meeting, Kamal told Dr Zakir Naik, “You are sitting with the world’s best governor. Although he hasn’t received the award yet, considering the way he is working, he will earn it soon.”

Kamal also recalled that he had once received the ‘World’s Best Mayor’ award.

Earlier, the University of Karachi awarded an honorary Doctor of Philosophy degree to renowned religious preacher Dr Zakir Naik during a special convocation held at the Governor House in Karachi.

Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and Vice Chancellor of the varsity Khalid Mehmood Iraqi conferred the PhD degree upon Dr Zakir Naik on Wednesday evening.

The special convocation ceremony was attended by faculty members of the University of Karachi, members of the syndicate, and consuls general from various countries.

During his speech at the convocation ceremony, Kamran Tessori said, “Dr Zakir Naik has delivered thousands of lectures across the globe and participated in numerous debates. This honorary degree is a recognition of his invaluable services. I congratulate him on receiving this doctorate and have full confidence that he will continue his work with the same dedication.”
