Pakistan launches first-ever air taxi service from Karachi

Pakistan has launched the first-ever air taxi from Karachi, aiming to assist passengers in emergencies and also provide aerial visits to tourists.
According to Sky Wings Aviation Chief Operating Officer (COO) Aslam Khan, in the first phase, the company contained only four air taxis, but the number of taxis would be extended as per the requirements.
“The taxis will be operating from Karachi to interior Sindh and Balochistan with fare Rs95,000 per hour,” he said.
As many as three passengers can travel in the air taxi at the same time.
The administration began booking for the tourists who wanted to visit and witness the aerial view of the surrounding areas of Karachi, Sindh and Balochistan.
Imran added that travellers who want to take air taxi services in the limits of Karachi can book their seats on the Sky Wings website.
He said with this air travel tourists can see the entire city, including the sea, mangrove forest, and other places of the metropolitan.
The German-manufactured aircraft can fly at a speed of 160 kilometres per hour.
