PTA blocks 16 Indian YouTube channels over anti-Pakistan propaganda

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked 16 Indian YouTube channels for spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda, according to an official statement.
In addition to the YouTube channels, 31 video links and 32 websites operated from India have also been blocked.
The move comes in light of the prevailing regional situation, and was taken to protect national security and safeguard Pakistan’s digital environment.
The PTA stated that the blocked content featured misleading and harmful narratives intended to influence public opinion and undermine national unity.

The statement emphasized that PTA remains committed to providing a safe and trustworthy internet experience for telecom users in Pakistan.
The authority will continue to monitor online content and take strict action against material deemed contrary to national interests.
