The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has instructed all cellular mobile operators to make it easier for users to check and manage their subscribed Value Added Services (VAS).

Under this new step, mobile users can now view and deactivate unwanted VAS subscriptions using simple USSD codes.

According to the PTA, the service can be accessed through the following codes: Jazz users can dial *6611#, Telenor users *4444#, Zong users *6611#, and Ufone users *6869#.

The authority said the initiative is aimed at improving transparency and protecting consumer rights. It will also help subscribers avoid unnecessary charges by allowing them to regularly review their active services.

PTA added that it remains committed to consumer protection and promoting better service standards in the country’s telecom sector.
