Gujrat girl shoots younger sister over TikTok video

An 18-year-old girl allegedly shot her younger sister dead after arguments over a TikTok video.
The tragic incident took place in Gujrat, where Maria Afzal allegedly opened fire and killed her 14-year-old sister Saba Afzal following an argument over a TikTok video in their home at Kariala village in the Sara-i-Alamgir Saddar police area.
The police arrived at the scene and shifted the deceased to Civil Hospital for autopsy. They later handed the body to the family for her last rites.
The suspected killer has not been arrested yet. The brother, Nabeel Afzal, reported the incident, leading to the registration of a murder case against Maria.
This follows a recent case on December 26, where three youngsters were killed while making a TikTok video on a motorcycle in Khanqah Dogran, Sheikhupura district.
In another incident in Hakla village, Kharian Saddar police, Zain Ali Qureshi was shot dead, and his six-year-old nephew, Samar Abbas, was injured during a reconciliation attempt after a family dispute.
The suspects assaulted Zain and others, resulting in the fatal shooting.
The police registered a case against the suspects based on the report of Shan Ali, Zain's brother.
