Religious authorities from Darul Iftah Jamia Naeemia, in partnership with the Lahore police department, have released a Fatwa categorizing three activities—one-wheelie, kite flying, and aerial firing—as un-Islamic.

The Fatwa references multiple verses from the Quran and Hadiths to support the assertion that these actions are considered “Haram.”

This declaration follows a series of important discussions among senior police officials from Lahore’s operations division, during which data was presented that highlighted the alarming number of deaths and injuries associated with these activities, particularly affecting the youth.

Such incidents have inflicted lasting trauma on numerous families.

According to the police, both the religious scholars and law enforcement have issued a stern warning against engaging in these perilous activities, labeling them as both illegal and un-Islamic.

The scholars underscored that Islam prioritizes the sanctity of human life, and any conduct that endangers life is unequivocally forbidden.

An official referenced the Fatwa, indicating that these activities are comparable to acts of suicide, as the Quran explicitly prohibits actions that lead to self-harm.
