'Armaghan killed Mustafa Amir after fight over girl'

Karachi police have made significant progress in the Mustafa Amir murder case as suspect Shiraz confessed during interrogation that co-accused Armaghan killed Mustafa Amir over a dispute involving a woman.

According to police sources, Armaghan lured Mustafa to his house, where he brutally tortured him before carrying out the murder. 

Armaghan then allegedly tortured him for three hours using an iron rod.

After the assault, the suspects transported Mustafa’s body in his car from Keamari to Hamdard Chowki and later to Hub.

Upon reaching a mountainous area near Daraji, about two kilometers away, they opened the car trunk and found Mustafa still alive. Armaghan then poured petrol on the vehicle and set it on fire.

The suspects reportedly walked for three hours before hiring a Suzuki driver for Rs. 2,000 to reach 4K Chowrangi. From there, they took a rickshaw to Defence and later an Uber to return home.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case, while forensic evidence is being examined to confirm further details.

On February 8, law enforcement apprehended Mustafa’s acquaintance, Armaghan, following an encounter that resulted in injuries to a DSP and two officers.

During the arrest, Mustafa’s mobile phone and bloodstains on a carpet were discovered at Armaghan’s residence. Intelligence agencies also played a role in the investigation.

DIG Haider disclosed that Armaghan and another suspect, Shiraz, had been close friends since childhood and had attended school together until the seventh grade, with Mustafa also being part of their circle.
