Boat operator arrested after fatal tourist boat capsize at Saifullah Lake

The operator of the tourist boat involved in the fatal capsizing incident at Saifullah Lake in Swat has been arrested.

The boat involved in the accident was carrying seven members of the same family from Lahore. Rescue teams recovered the bodies of six victims, while a 17-year-old girl remains missing.

Police said the boat operator has been taken into custody and a criminal case has been registered in connection with the incident.

Rescue officials confirmed that the search operation for a girl who remains missing after the accident entered its fourth day and is continuing.

According to rescue authorities, six people lost their lives when the boat capsized, while two others were rescued.

The victims were members of a single family from Lahore, with nine relatives on board at the time of the accident.
