Brand new motorcycles worth Rs30 mln reduced to ashes in Karachi

KARACHI: A truck carrying brand new motorcycles was reduced to ashes in Karachi’s Gadap Town, coming under the jurisdiction of the police station, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

According to details, the truck was on its way from Karachi to Multan with the motorcycles for delivery when it caught fire due to a short circuit, sources said.

News channels managed to acquire footage showing a delivery truck carrying the motorcycles on fire. Motorcycles worth 30 million rupees were reduced to ashes in the fire

According to sources, the fire erupted in the truck due to a short circuit, and in an effort to douse the fire, the truck’s driver sustained minor injuries.

Employees of the company and the driver managed to douse the fire themselves.
