Cell phone snatchers shoot 7-year-old boy for resisting robbery in Karachi

Armed robbers shot and injured a boy in Karachi’s Gadap area after he refused to hand over his mobile phone during a robbery attempt.

According to the police, the incident occurred within the limits of the Gadap police station when the suspects tried to snatch a phone from a seven-year-old boy.

Rescue officials said the child put up resistance, prompting the robbers to open fire.

The boy sustained a gunshot wound and was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The suspects fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

The police said that an investigation has been launched and evidence is being collected to track down the culprits.
