CM Punjab launches helpline for instant financial aid to deserving families in Ramadan

CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced the launch of a special “Maryam Ko Batain” ‘helpline 1000’ to provide rapid financial relief to deserving families during Ramazan.

According to official statements, the helpline will be operational from the first day of Ramazan. Eligible applicants will be able to receive up to Rs10,000 aid in cash within 24 hours after verification.

According to authorities, people can also submit requests through an official web portal or mobile application by entering their CNIC number for registration and verification.

Officials stated that applications will be processed through a transparent digital system featuring live tracking, digital record-keeping, and monitoring to ensure accountability and prevent misuse.

Citizens already registered in the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) will receive funds within 24 hours, while new applicants will undergo verification and enrollment that may take up to four days before payment is issued.

Moreover, it is noted, that assistance will be limited to individuals who are not receiving aid from other government relief schemes, ensuring the support reaches the most deserving households.
