Criminal record of US woman Onijah Andrew found online: report

A woman from the United States, Onijah Andrew Robinson, has garnered attention in Pakistan following her allegations against a man from Karachi for betrayal.

According to a US-based website that also published her mugshot, she was reportedly arrested in South Carolina in 2021.

The 33-year-old American national reportedly forced her way into a residential building in the Garden East area of Karachi on Wednesday, refusing to vacate despite requests from both the building's residents and law enforcement officials.

Records indicate that in February 2021, Onijah was apprehended in Charleston County for "ENTERING PREMISES AFTER WARNING." A bail bond was established at $465, although it remains unclear whether this bond was paid or if the charges were substantiated.

The information is sourced from Mugshots Zone, an unofficial platform that monitors arrests nationwide, with the stated purpose of ensuring public access to criminal records for safety reasons.

Onijah Andrew Robinson, a 33-year-old from New York, traveled to Karachi after developing a romantic relationship with 19-year-old Nidal Memon, a local resident, via social media.

Following the young man's disappearance, prompted by his parents' disapproval of their relationship, she managed to sustain herself for a few days with the funds she had brought but has since run out of resources.
