In a shocking turn of events, armed assailants attacked and damaged solar panels installed at a farm located in the Qazi Ahmad area of Nawabshah.
The perpetrators, allegedly motivated by the farm's refusal to succumb to extortion demands, unleashed a barrage of gunfire and systematically vandalized the property, causing extensive damage to vital infrastructure.
Reports indicate that the attackers specifically targeted the farm's solar panels, ruthlessly destroying over 100 units that were crucial for powering the agricultural operations.
Additionally, in a display of wanton destruction, they set ablaze a tractor owned by the Jatoi community, exacerbating the financial losses suffered by the affected farmers.
The gravity of the situation has prompted urgent pleas for intervention from the authorities.
The aggrieved farmers, reeling from the senseless violence inflicted upon their livelihoods, have implored the Inspector General of Sindh Police and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators and ensure that justice is served.
