Islamabad: Pakistan experienced one of its hottest Decembers in the past 65 years, according to the Meteorological Department’s monthly report for December 2025.

The report stated that December 2025 ranked as the seventh warmest December over the last six and a half decades.

Both daytime and nighttime temperatures remained above normal throughout the month.

Unseasonably warm conditions were particularly observed in Sindh and Balochistan, while rainfall in Karachi and several other cities was recorded below the seasonal average.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.

However, very cold weather is expected in hilly areas during morning and night hours.

Moderate to dense fog is expected in Punjab, upper Sindh and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
