Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah took a heartfelt initiative by welcoming 22 children from the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KSDP) to the CM House.
The visit was arranged on the CM's invitation to provide the children with a unique and memorable experience.
The children, accompanied by KSDP co-founder and CEO Tabish Shehzad, were warmly received by the Chief Minister.
CM Shah gave the children a tour of the historic CM House and asked them, "Who among you wants to become the Chief Minister?" Most children raised their hands enthusiastically, but Baby Dua confidently stood up and declared her dream of becoming the Chief Minister.
In a touching moment, the CM respected their aspirations by allowing each child to sit in his chair while he sat beside them, saying, "If you become the Chief Minister, we will serve as your assistants."
The children also toured the gallery, but the highlight was when Baby Dua was formally declared "Chief Minister for the Day" and presided over a meeting in the conference hall.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthem. Principal Secretary Agha Wasif briefed Baby Dua on Sindh’s population, education, and governance. Taking her role seriously, Baby Dua directed her cabinet to "Keep Pakistan clean."
CM Shah supported her directives and promised, "Chief Minister Dua, we will ensure all cities and Pakistan remain clean as per your instructions."
