Drunk individuals assault tanker driver; suspects flee in Gulistan-e-Johar

In Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar area near Kamran Chowrangi, several intoxicated individuals subjected an innocent tanker driver to severe violence.

According to the affected driver, the incident occurred when he tried to move the tanker to the side of the road, after which the intoxicated men began beating him.

The victim, tanker driver Muhammad Saleem, told the media that he was struck with an iron rod and brutally assaulted. He further alleged that injustice was done to him and demanded justice.

The driver also claimed that police did not provide any help during the incident.

After receiving information, police reached the scene, but the attackers had already managed to escape.According to police, an investigation is underway and efforts are being made to trace the suspects.

It is noteworthy that the assaulted tanker driver, Muhammad Saleem, belongs to Punjab.
