A local court of Karachi acquitted SSP Imran Qureshi, DSP Tariq Bajari, and others, who were nominated in a robbery case involving millions at a trader's house.

Bajari and over a dozen other policemen and civilians were booked last yea on charges of robbery, abduction, house trespass and wrongful confinement after they allegedly looted trader Shakir Khan’s home in Orangi Town and briefly kidnapped him and his brother Amir Khan before releasing them near the Baloch Colony flyover.

The Additional District and Sessions Judge West acquitted SSP Imran Qureshi, DSP Tariq Bajari, and other accused in the Pirabad robbery case.

The court announced the decision on the acquittal request of the accused, stating that the complainant refused to identify the accused and confirmed that they were not involved in the case, and also submitted an NOC in court.

After the complainant's response, the court accepted the acquittal request and acquitted SSP Imran Qureshi, DSP Tariq Bajari, and other accused.
