Air hostess injured after assault by ex-comissioner's daughter on Quetta-Isb flight

Former Quetta commissioner Iftikhar Jogezai’s daughter, Saima Jogezai, allegedly assaulted a female air hostess mid-flight after being asked to fasten her seatbelt.

The incident occurred on Serene Air flight 540 from Quetta to Islamabad when the cabin crew instructed passengers to fasten their seatbelts and stop meal service.

Saima, who had reportedly misbehaved with staff during check-in, lost her temper when approached by the air hostess.

She used foul language and caused a scene, prompting the air hostess to inform the captain. The pilot then contacted the control tower and returned the aircraft to the runway.

Upon landing, Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel boarded the plane and requested Saima and her father to disembark. However, she refused and, in a fit of rage, punched the air hostess with in her, causing her nose to bleed.

Following the assault, ASF detained both individuals. As per reports, the ASF was directed to resolve the matter.

The father and daughter later submitted a written apology, after which they were allowed to leave.
