Husband, wife die after jumping in river over dispute in Sanghar

In a tragic turn of events near Sanghar, a seemingly ordinary dispute between a married couple escalated into a harrowing incident that shook the entire community. It all began as Syed Fida Hussain Shah and his wife, Mehrunisa, were en route to their destination, nestled in the serene countryside of Tando Mitha Khan.

However, what should have been a routine journey took a distressing turn when discord reared its ugly head between the husband and wife.

As tensions flared, the couple found themselves embroiled in a heated argument, compelling them to halt their journey and step out of their vehicle, seeking respite from the escalating conflict. Moments, later, the woman jumped into river, while the husband also jumped to save her, but both of them died.

The couple also had daughters, who were left stranded in the vehicle. The incident has sent shock waves across the society.

The bodies of the couple were retrieved by the divers.
