Initial findings reveal Humaira Asghar's body is six months old

The case of model Humaira Asghar Ali’s body being recovered from her apartment has taken a grim turn, as initial findings reveal the body was more than six months old.

According to preliminary findings by a female medico-legal officer, the model’s decomposed remains were discovered in her flat located in Defence Phase VI, which has now been de-sealed by the authorities.

Police conducted a thorough search of the apartment. All food items found in the refrigerator had expiry dates marked for October 2024, and it was noted that Humaira Asghar had not paid her electricity bill. K-Electric had disconnected the power supply at the end of October.

No signs of fresh blood were found at the scene. The body was so badly decomposed that even the knee joints had begun to decay.

The last rent payment was reportedly made in May 2024.

The exact cause of death remains unknown. After completing the search operation, police officials left the premises.

The body of Humaira Asghar Ali was recovered from her flat located in Ittehad Commercial Area, Defence Phase 6.

The police arrived at her home at around 3:15 pm to enforce a court order to vacate the apartment. When repeated knocks went unanswered, they broke the door and found her body lying on the floor.

Police officials confirmed that the actress had been living alone in the flat for the past seven years. Forensic evidence was collected from the scene, and her body was sent for postmortem examination.
