KMC reveals NOC conditions for Trans Karachi Red Line Bus Project following NIPA tragedy

The Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) has disclosed the conditions set in the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the Trans Karachi Red Line Bus project.

According to the NOC, the Trans Karachi project must cooperate with KMC by providing alternative routes until the project is completed.

The project is also required to assist KMC in draining rainwater during the monsoon season.

Additionally, during the construction period, Trans Karachi must provide coordinated support to KMC in case of any unexpected situations.

The NOC states that if Trans Karachi complies with these conditions, KMC will not raise objections to the construction activities of the project.

Previously, the Red Line BRT administration had distanced itself from the NIPA Chaurangi incident, issuing a letter denying responsibility for the sewer and manhole system.

KMC had held the BRT project responsible for the open manhole on University Road, NIPA Chaurangi.
