Lahore school principal held for sexually abusing 4th-grade student

A school principal has been arrested in Lahore over allegedly forcing a minor girl student into indecent acts and threatening her with severe consequences if she revealed his coarse, offensive behaviour.  

The police said the accused, identified as Ghulam Nabi, was allegedly involved in sexual abuse with a fourth-standard student who was studying in his school. 

Sinor Superintendent Dr Muhammad Omer said that the investigation revealed the incident was reported in the premises of Hanjarwal police station.

The accused has been doing the immoral practice with the minor victim for two months. 

The suspect warned the girl that she would face grave consequences if she told anyone about his offence.

The case was registered against the accused on the complaint lodged by the victim's mother, Iqra Imran. 

In the subsequent action, the suspect was handed over to the Investigation Wing. Police officials said that people who harass and indecently assault children do not deserve any concessions.

Earlier, a man accused of committing indecent acts with a minor girl in Multan was arrested in an injured condition after accidentally shooting himself while attempting to fire at police during a raid.

A video of the incident, which went viral on social media, showed the man engaging in inappropriate behaviour with a minor girl. The footage sparked widespread outrage online, with netizens demanding his immediate arrest.

A few days ago, a similar incident was reported in Kasur.
