Lightning strike kills six people and six donkeys in Tharparkar

Nagarparkar: In a tragic incident in the village of Akraro, located in the district of Tharparkar, a lightning strike killed six people including women and children.

According to local police, the victims belonged to a single family and were present in the fields when the lightning struck. The sudden and severe weather event led to the immediate loss of lives, causing immense grief and sorrow in the community.

The police further confirmed that all six individuals were working in the fields at the time of the lightning strike. The incident has highlighted the vulnerability of rural communities to natural disasters, particularly in regions prone to such weather phenomena.

Separately, six donkeys were also killed due to lightning strike. 

This tragedy has underscored the need for better awareness and preparedness measures to protect individuals from such natural calamities.
