Madressah teacher brutally beats 7-year-old orphan boy in Karachi

In a heartwrenching incident, a 7-year-old oprhan boy was physically assaulted by a madressah teacher for not memorising a lesson in Karachi, it emerged on Thursday.

According to police, the harrowing incident of physical abuse occurred at a seminary located in Korangi No 1/2 area of the metropolis.

The suspect, identified as Qari Hanan, hit Muaz with a thorny stick, which caused deep wound to his arm.

The teacher fled the scene after committing the heinous crime, the law enforcers added.

A case was registered against the suspect on the complaint of the victim's family at Kornagi police station.

SSP Korangi Tauheed Rehman Memon took notice of the incident and ordered the police to launch a manhunt.

The police are conducting raids to arrest the suspect as soon as possible.
