After talks with Palestinian UN officials, Malala vows continued support for girls’ learning and recovery.

“The ongoing Israeli genocide has destroyed or damaged every single school in Gaza. Places where children gathered, asked questions, made friends and imagined their futures no longer exist, “she wrote on her X account.

She further highlighted the scale of the devastation, stressing that accountability and justice must prevail. Israel is blocking access to books and school supplies from entering Gaza, and making it difficult for children to study and have normal childhoods, in spaces where they would once gather, make friends, and have futures.

She also noted that the Malala Fund will continue supporting organisations responding to these crises and collaborate with local leaders committed to helping young girls learn, rebuild their communities, and shape their careers.
