Man, who disguised as Rangers officer to loot Karachi shop, turns out to be actual Rangersman

A man, who committed a robbery in Karachi's Gulshan Iqbal area in Rangers uniform, was arrested by the law enforcers on Saturday.
The accused, identified as Zahid, was found to be an officer of the Rangers and was arrested after a raid at his house in Surjani Town.
According to sources, Zahid was on a month's leave at the time of the incident.
Adil Jan, the owner of Pakwan Centre, who was robbed, revealed in his statement that he knew the suspect and had a dispute over money with him.
The Rangers raided the suspect's house based on the plaintiff's identification and recovered Rs1.8 million in cash and other goods.
Departmental action will be taken against the accused official, the law enforcement agency said.
"Action will also be taken against the victim for misrepresenting the police and not disclosing the full facts of the incident," it added.
The incident came to light on July 19 when a CCTV footage went viral on social media.

According to the CCTV video, an armed robber, who wore a surgical mask to conceal his identity, entered the Pakwan Center in Gulshan-e-Iqbal 13D area.
The robber made off with a bag filled with mobile phones and Rs1.8 million cash at gunpoint.
