A 21-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his father in Karachi's Orangi Town area, according to police.
Station House Officer (SHO) of Iqbal Market, Sher Mohammed, confirmed the arrest of Abdul Ghaffar Khan, who is accused of killing his son, Ali Khan, using a shovel at their residence in Raja Tanveer Colony, Sector 11½.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the father was deeply disturbed by his son’s association with members of the transgender community.
SHO Sher Mohammed stated that Abdul Ghaffar had frequently warned his son to avoid such interactions, but Ali continued to meet them, which reportedly led to mounting tension within the household.
The accused confessed to subjecting his son to electric shocks before fatally attacking him with a shovel.

The investigation remains ongoing as forensic and medical reports are awaited to substantiate key claims made during interrogation.
