Man robbed in front of security guard by armed men in Karachi

A shocking incident of street robbery was caught on camera in Karachi.

In a viral video, a man is seen being intercepted by the armed men, and the man tries to run to save his money. The man threw the packet towards a guard sitting outside a bank to save his savings, but he failed.

In the video, the guard is seen standing still and he does not bother to intervene to foil the robber 

A decline was seen in street crimes in Karachi in 2025, according to the reports. Incidents of mugging, car thefts and mobile snatching were reported but not as much as 2024. 

According to official data compiled from the FIRs, a total of 64,323 street crime incidents were recorded in 2025.

These include robbery, mobile phone snatching and vehicle snatching. The figure reflects a decrease of 6,782 cases compared to 71,105 incidents reported in 2024.
